Elizabeth's Private reatreat at The Wisdom Center
The first weekend retreat that I spent at The Wisdom Center was at a time in my life when I felt I was at my wit's end. Like many others 2009 had been an extremley challenging year on many levels and I was exhausted.
I scheduled a session with Holly Ireland and at the end of the session, she suggested I take a two day retreat at the Center. It proved to be life altering. We met in the mornings and evenings for consultation and the reamainder of the time, I was free to explore the innner and outer landscapes.
I spent quiet time in the art gallery / library and even did some drumming. I sat on top of a mountain with stunning views and beside the peaceful and pristine lake. The energy of the land itself was of a healing nature that I had not felt in a long time. That coupled with Holly's wisdom, spiritual insightfulness and deep connection to both spirit and earth provided the container through which I could begin to relax into the fullness of my own light
It was my first, but certainly not my last retreat at The wisdom Center. I left with a renewed connection to the stillness through which clarity of purpose emerges and in a state of deep gratitude. The Wisdom Center is a profound gift.
